Michelle K. Schindler concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation, including trial and appellate litigation and arbitration. Her experience has involved a variety of legal issues including employment law, construction litigation, fraud, fiduciary duties, antitrust law, manufacturing and distribution, and bank regulation. Michelle has handled matters in numerous jury and bench trials. Michelle has handled appeals in various appellate courts. She has represented clients before federal and state courts across the nation.
Michelle grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and started her legal career working for a large law firm in Chicago, Illinois. After seven years of practicing in Chicago, Michelle, her husband (Dieter Schindler) and their young daughter moved to the Roaring Fork Valley.
While in law school, Michelle was a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team (Vienna, Austria) and a member of the Canada-United States Law Institute Niagara International Moot Court Team.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family.
